ABB E-mobility is the division of the ABB Group, counting 100000 employees worldwide, dedicated to electrifying mobility. In a world where customs processes are increasingly complex, tariffs shift rapidly and compliance workflows are still largely manual, those who can automate win. ABB E-mobility has identified exactly this gap: today, the process of verifying that import instructions communicated to customs brokers are properly followed is manual, time-consuming and error-prone. The goal is to eliminate it.

This project places you at the center of one of the most relevant challenges at the intersection of trade, logistics and artificial intelligence: developing an automated, ideally AI-based tool that cross-checks information across three different sources to ensure that processes are correctly followed and that tariffs and duties are properly applied.

The project sits within a broader digital transformation: ABB E-mobility is integrating SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS) as the official system of record for data, documentation and compliance management, with the objective of enabling direct transmission of customs clearance instructions to brokers. The tool you build could become a structural part of that architecture.
