If companies want to move towards a really sustainable approach up to reach a system building level of sustainability, they are necessarily called to collaborate with formal and informal stakeholders. The thesis aims at investigating specific innovation networks, with a system building approach, to understand which are the main critical success factors to operate, which are the organizational methods in place, which are the enablers to reach the desired results.

The thesis will be realized through a structured literature review and the conduction of in depth case studies.
