This thesis explores how wealthtech startups are innovating the business model of family offices—particularly single family offices—through digital solutions that automate processes, enable advanced analytics, and redefine access to investments and services. The research unfolds in two phases: a desk study to map the global wealthtech ecosystem, and a qualitative investigation based on interviews with founders of startups offering services to family offices. The aim is to understand how these actors are reshaping the sector, offering a novel perspective on an industry that has traditionally remained opaque and underexplored.
