Description
Purchasing groups are a type of AFN characterized by a high degree of informality and decentralization which makes it difficult to describe a standard set of practices and even more to capture the priority that participants associate to sustainability and the actual sustainability impacts. A survey among purchasing group members will allow the understanding of their features (income, education level, geographic area), the priority they give to different sustainability criteria and how they assess the compliance of producers and products with their priorities. An additional survey among producers can complement this data.
