Description: Production and purchasing planning decisions, as well as inventory sizing, have always been guided by economic considerations. Starting from an analysis of the existing literature on the topic, this thesis aims to propose new models for evaluating inventory holding and setup costs, and therefore new approaches to planning that take into account the environmental impact of planning decisions.

(3)Model refinement, discussion and validation with supply chain managers and academics
