Uteco Convering s.p.a, located in Italy – Colognola ai Colli (Verona) was founded in 1985, and is a worldwide leading manufacturer and supplier of flexible packaging equipment.

Uteco Brief: The aim is to innovate the machine manual, in order to reduce the diagnosis and maintenance times of Uteco machinery and to make this tool usable and interpretable for all professionals, not just technicians.

Concepts

The solution evaluated concerns the creation of a Web app capable of connecting both with traditional devices (PC, Tablet, smartphone) and with smart-glasses. The application will be able to interact with  Uteco machine to provide the operator with a certain amount of information in relation to the area of the machine considered. The functions considered mainly concern the display of infor mation (Technical drawings, diagrams, checklists) both on screen and on smart-glasses.

Functions: QR code / barcode scanning, voice commands, augmented reality, possible connection with RFID, possible creation of a chatbot.
