This thesis proposal aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the impact of web3 and blockchain technology on traditional business models through a census of web3 projects and initiatives carried out by companies and public institutions worldwide. The empirical analysis involves the collection of data related to the projects through indirect sources, with the primary goal of gaining insight into the pivotal impact factors of web3 and blockchain technology on business models across different industries, both at national and international level.

The study will be conducted in collaboration with the Blockchain & Web3 Observatory, which will provide the necessary support throughout the research process.

Interested students are required to submit by e-mail their CV, a list of completed courses with grades received, and a brief description outlining why they are interested in the topic.

Note
The thesis student will collaborate with researchers, working synergistically with the activities of the Blockchain & Web3 Observatory (www.osservatori.net). This involvement includes participation in workshops for discussions with key market players. The student will receive support throughout the preparation and execution of analyses and will have the possibility to do a workstudy period at the Observatory.
