Organisations are constantly faced with disruptive events that impact their operations.
It is important to ensure the Operational Resilience of Organisations, i.e., their ability to continue to provide important business products and services, adapt to the unpredictability of the environment, and thus respond to plausible disruptions to minimize harm to their customers, stakeholders, and the broader market.
The objective of this work is to develop a methodology for assessing the operational resilience of companies in the industrial sector, leveraging existing capabilities (e.g., business continuity, crisis management, incident management). First, to identify the key principles of operational resilience; second, to explore how these principles can be assessed in real organisations.
The methodology will be tested in a context represented by a leading international transportation sector organisation.
Students will have the opportunity to work with the 3Cs Group company, which includes experts in the field of business continuity and operational resilience (https://3cs.cloud/it_it/).
