Manufacturing companies have already begun to leverage the capabilities of artificial intelligence and machine learning on the factory floor, but the ongoing evolution of AI algorithms continually expands the boundaries of its applications. AI in manufacturing plans expand beyond robotics and automation to now include driving the overall effectiveness of equipment, optimizing processes, and creating a critical role in predictive maintenance. The research aims to present the solutions provided by the most innovative startups on optimizing the overall effectiveness of factory equipment, monitoring and detection of missing materials, product quality problems, automatic alerts on recommended intervention, in order to ensure the most effective control over assets in the factory and maintain or improve its performance.
