The work aims to monitor the main national Mobile Payment services. The empirical analysis includes the census and the collection of data relating to the services both through indirect sources and through direct interviews with the players involved in the provision of some of the main Italian services, with the ultimate aim of obtaining an overview of the current state of this market and on developments compared to previous years. The analysis also includes a particular focus on the mobility sector, with the aim of understanding the dynamics of use of these services and identifying some particularly interesting use cases.
