Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly significant in logistics. However, the term encompasses a variety of methods and approaches, each with distinct performance and cost implications. The aim of this thesis is to explore how companies are integrating AI into logistics, with a particular focus on the capabilities they prioritize.

The methodology for this research will combine three approaches: a literature review, an analysis of startups offering logistics software, and case studies with software providers.
