Cookies can be divided into the following categories:

• Technical cookies: these are used for purposes strictly related to the proper functioning of the website; 
• Profiling cookies: these allow information to be obtained about the user and may be used for unsolicited purposes, such as the display of advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user while browsing.

• Sharing cookies (Social Buttons Plugins and Widgets): there are “buttons” (called “social buttons/widgets”) on the website that depict the icons of social networks or other services (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.). These buttons allow users who are browsing the website to interact with a “click” directly with the social networks depicted there. If users want to find out about the methods and purposes of the processing of user information by third parties, it is advisable to read the privacy and cookie policies of the third parties involved. Legal basis for the processing

The personal data indicated on this page are processed by the University in the performance of its tasks of public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller, including the task of carrying out information and institutional communication activities pursuant to Law no. 150/2000. The legal basis for the processing of profiling cookies or other similar tracking tools described above is to be found in the consent referred to in Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
