Digital learning has recently become a buzzword across educational levels. Despite the contingency forced the delivery of emergency remote teaching, building a strategy for digital learning is the only way to look beyond and plan the future. Being at the forefront of educational innovation, business schools are considered the catalysts for digital transformation in education. The thesis aims at analysing and comparing how business schools have (re)shaped their strategies to face the challenges posed by digital learning. In so doing, the thesis relies on three pillars:

  • Analysing the state-of-the-art on the strategic approach to digital learning in business schools internationally
  • Carrying out interviews with representatives from a sample of business schools involved in the study, at national and international level
  • Developing a synthetic model to compare and contrast the various strategic approaches emerged from the business schools under investigation
