This dissertation seeks to explore the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Circular Economy, aiming to uncover the potential opportunities that AI technologies can unlock. The work will at first require performing a systematic literature review about the adoption of AI in circularity-oriented firms and to understand the benefits that these technologies can bring to companies adopting or transitioning towards Circular Economy practices. Then, the level of adoption of AI and the identified reasons and benefits will be verified through an empirical analysis based on interviews.
